To help support our growth, we are looking for a Senior Web Engineer. The Web Engineer will be responsible for designing and coding websites and web applications for our amazing customers. Our team is looking for an engineer who will be able to work a Hybrid schedule in our Raleigh, NC office that wants to go to the next level with WordPress CMS, Headless WordPress, and React. You must be comfortable working in an Agile agency environment.

What you'll do...
Application development using Wordpress modern stack and related technologies
Perform all aspects of the development lifecycle to design, code, and test software
Develop enhancements to existing software
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production bugs
Participate in design sessions, code reviews, & retrospectives to continuously improve
Work closely with project managers, creative team and other developers
Work using Agile development methodologies
Qualifications
(Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology
3+ year experience engineering software and application platforms
Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, & Javascript frameworks
Strong knowledge of Wordpress, Headless Wordpress, and PHP
Hands on experience with development of Wordpress themes, plugins & widgets
Familiarity with WP related technologies:
WP REST API
theme.json
Gutenberg Editor
Hooks/filters
OOP PHP
Composer
PHP Code Quality tools
React Development experience within WordPress ecosystem
Experience with APIs and webhooks
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an Agile team
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
